When it comes to knowing the bible and the understanding of my purpose I'm somewhat or almost right but my thoughts don't matter if I can't back it up with scripture...I admit as a sinner that I don't know my bible verses very well but I read every night for understanding 1st & then so I can remember...Hosea 4:6 My people perish for their lack of knowledge...I may not no much of the scripture yet but I know if I don't read day in & day out I'm in danger of going to hell...we all got the opportunity to read the bible & seek the truth but we don't...but God is merciful for those who will answer his calling...it's just the beginning for me so I'm still a little ignorant but I know the bible is the only real truth...


 Oh yeah the verses that really got me reading are Revelations 3:14-22...where god say he hates a lukewarm Christian...he can't do anything with people who follow some of his rules & not others..how we gonna follow the rules when we don't know em by heart...I'm that lukewarm Christian god is talking about & I gotta turnup/repent for my ways every chance I get...When people got a good job & can put food on the table God feels like some people act like they don't need him...some people only mention god when they are in trouble or need sum thin..I'm guilty of this..but god says to the halfway Christian that he would rather you be all the way cold or all the way hot...if you know some scriptures...you best be about your business to learn as much as you can...I advise everyone to read Revelations 3:14-22

Because I can. lol To me this is my blog and I write about whatever or whoever I feel at that time. Regardless of how it is. There like random journal entries.... They don't have to be in order, They don't have to make sense. And not all my post are about young and the next young...I talk about different issues we go through as people everyday. for example....friends with benefits, self esteem, abuse, etc...you actually could learn and thing or two from reading my post.....

Most people either completely love/understand you OR they completely hate & refuse to understand you. It's usually either or.
You guys aren't as complicated as others claim you are. You're actually simple creatures yourself, it's just that the way you view the world & everyone/everything in it is what's actually sophisticated & complex.
You guys may not be the most affectionate or the most sensitive, BUT you guys are "Doers." You're "actions" type of people. And since we learned in kindergarden that "actions speak louder than words" I completely understand why you guys believe that SHOWING someone you love them better than you can tell them 50xs is more valuable & important.
You guys don't mean any harm when you're being overly critical. If only others knew, you harshly critique yourselves just as badly as you do to others. You mean well. You're "delivery" may suck, but deep down you get so critical b/c it hurts you deeply to see those closest to you making naive, dumb, bad or unfair decisions. You hate seeing that someone is hurt b/c of their own fault. That's why you guys like to step in & be the "parents" of the zodiac. You're just "trying to help," & you can only HOPE that your loved ones will realize/see this when all the criticizing is over with.
You guys are great detectives & have great memories. You guys have a keen sense for picking up on even the smallest little details that others missed. Of course this about you annoys those with bad intentions, BUT to those who actually wish they had your skills, they grow to appreciate this about you Virgos. I believe that if I follow my sense I will never sum to anything. My mind is mute and has no feeling. My mind can easily shut down and shut everyone out. My intellect can be manipulated. My thought does not care about the hurt and pain. I can easily with no second guessing listen to my mind because there is no feeling for it.  My notion tells lies and will believe a lie. My mind does not want to deal with the heart. My mind is afraid to fail, afraid to try. My mind has no faith but it does believe in God. My mind is jumbled.

My heart is vulnerable and open like a wound. Pure and naive like a newborn baby. My heart is scared to love and afraid to take love within. My soul is God’s light shining through me and sometimes I can feel him close and by me. My core is love and my heart has never told me wrong. My spirit is the reason why there is positivity in my life. My bosom feels everything and can easily be hurt. Up to now I have neglected every feeling my heart had so I couldn’t sense anything. To myself, it was best. Not being capable to feel got me through a lot for so long, My main focus for a while was just working and bringing in that currency .  Dear Jamie: I would like to respond to the letter written by A Disgusted White Girl. Let me start by saying that I am a 28-year old black man. I graduated from one of the most prestigious universities in Atlanta, Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management. I have a good job at a major corporation and have recently purchased a house. So, I consider myself to be among the ranks of successful black men. I will not use my precious time to slander white people. I just want to set the record straight of why black men date white women. Back in the day, one of the biggest reasons why black men dated white women was because they were considered easy. The black girls in my neighborhood were raised in the church. They were very strict about when they lost their virginity and who they lost it to. Because of our impatience to wait, brothers would look for someone who would give it up easy without too much hassle. So, they turned to the white girls. Nowadays, in my opinion, a lot of brothers date white women because they are docile and easy to control. A lot of black men, because of insecurities, fears, and overall weaknesses, have become intimidated by the strength of our black women. We are afraid that our woman will be more successful than us, make more money than us, drive nicer cars and own bigger houses. Because of this fear, many black men look for a more docile woman. Someone we can control. I have talked to numerous black men and they continuously comment on how easy it is to control and walk over their white women. I just want to set the record straight. I want A Disgusted White Girl to know that not all successful black men date white women. Brothers like Ahmad Rashad, Denzel Washington, Michael Jordan, Morris Chestnut, Will Smith, Blair Underwood, Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, Samuel L. Jackson, and Chris Rock all married strong black women And, to flip the script, there are numerous white men, in and out of the spot light, who openly or secretly desire black women over white women. Ted Danson, Robert DeNiro, and David Bowie to name a few. I just don't want a disgusted white girl to be misinformed Stop thinking that because you are white that you are some type of goddess. Remember, when black Egyptian Queens like Hatsepshut and Nitorcris were ruling Dynasties and armies of men in Egypt, you were over in the caves of Europe eating raw meat and beating each other over the head with clubs. Read your history! It was the black woman that taught you how to cook and season your food. It was the black woman that taught you how to raise your children. It was black women who were breast feeding and raising your babies during slavery. It is the black woman that had to endure watching their fathers, husbands, and children beaten, killed, and thrown in jail. Black women were born with two strikes against them: being black and being a woman. And, through all this, Still They Rise! It is because of the black women's strength, elegance, power, love and beauty that I could> never> date anyone except my black Queen. It is not just the outer beauty that captivates and draws me to them. It is not the fact that they come in all shapes, sizes, colors and shades that I love them. Their inner beauty is what I find most appealing about black women. Their strong spirit, loving and nurturing souls, their integrity, their ability to overcome great obstacles, their willingness to stand for what they believe in, and their determination to succeed and reach their highest potential while enduring great pain and suffering is why I have fallen in love with black women. I honestly believe that your anger is geared more toward jealousy and envy more so than snotty looks. If this were not so, then why do you continuously go to tanning salons to darken your skin? If you are so proud to be white, then why don't you just be happy with your pale skin? Why do you continue to inject your lips, hips, and breasts with unnatural and dangerous substances so you can look fuller and more voluptuous? I think that your anger is really a result of you wanting to have what the black woman has. BOTTOM LINE: If I were looking for a docile woman, someone I can walk over and control, I would give you a call. But, unfortunately, I am looking for a Virtuous Woman. Someone that can be a good wife and mother to my children. Someone who can be my best friend and understands my struggles. I am looking for a soul mate. Dear Love, 

I'm finally at the point where I understand your power and worth. Took me many relationships with family and friends, many days and nights of being happy or being really sad. You bring out all these emotions and I want to say thankyou for teaching me good lessons.

Mr. Right or Mr. Right Now ??

So if you've been keeping up with me i told you about a man that i have been dating.....the older light bright gentlemen...let me update you. After many dates, many nights out around the town, coffee breaks, shopping, many dinners and cheesecakes. lol. After many late night talks on the phone,watching the games together, playing the game together, exercising together, going to church together, spooning and walks around the campus..and much more. I think this may just be the one. Meaning I think this just may be the one I settle down with, buy a home with, marry and all that... I don't want to jump the broom just yet. Yall know I'm a sucker for love and I fall quickly but I'm really taking my time and taking this slowly. Him being older he doesn't want to wait on nothing, very straight forward, and knows what he wants. He's already into his career and plans on retiring from what he's doing. All that's left to complete Mister is a Misses...

We are about 5 months into dating and we are having talks about moving in together in July. I'm all about time and I think its to soon, I was thinking after a year then we could move in. But when you love someone and your in love you want to be able to be with them everyday. I think the long distance relationship failed me the 1st time, we had to much space between one another which gave me and him open opportunity to run stray. and I don't want distance to be between us. So i figured lets move in...if all else fails then I'll just move back home ...no biggie. Life is short and I know in my heart without a doubt that this is a good look. Everything that I do and the moves I make really have to be thought out  because I'm a pair and I'm not alone so everything that I do will affect little muffin as well. 

. Everything seems to check out. 

I'm in a relationship were I don't have no doubts. I know its only been 5 months but he makes me sure of us. Which is something that I never had before.I feel like we are a team. We share common goals and we want to achieve them TOGETHER....its not on no help me come up and I might put you on type of shit...He goes just as hard as I do when it comes to makin us work and I love it. 

Everyday I have faith and I continue to pray that our relationship only gets better and we grow together has a couple, as a family. So wish me luck!!! 

 
 

Finally Closed That Chapter

This morning I was reading past blogs that I posted back in 2011. Wow I was really pressed lls...I look back at those times and the things that I wrote and I realized how lost and troubled I was then. To think that I was deserving of being mistreated for years. Reading past blogs I sounded obsessed and broken down, under his control. I'm here to tell you in 2013 I'm definitely singing a different tune.

 Riding my own waves, It took me a good year almost to realize that enough was enough and I needed to move forward, the drama and stress was becoming bad for my health and I was really falling off. Honestly enough was enough when my 4 year old could see the pain in my eyes and sense how I was feeling and she knew that daddy was the reason. I didn't want her to see that anymore and I didn't want me to feel that way anymore. I wanted out, and I got out. It wasn't like I was being held against my will or anything of that nature, I was holding on to someone that wanted to be let free. It was like caging a sliver back that belonged out in the wild. And once I let him free I let me free as well. And I've never felt better.
